Music has the power to transport us. From jazz and funk to latin and rock, James loves to harness that power with a broad audience of fellow music lovers and passionate musicians alike. This has allowed James to not only make it a lifelong journey to share his unique sound, but to share his pedagogy!
James is a professor at Trinity University for jazz piano and also teaches at Blue Frog school of Music!

Gigging since James was 14 at a local cafe, he has had an early career as a piano player. From his home town Kailua to Waikiki, Cleveland, and Boston, and now Austin, James has shared his music across America.

After finishing his B.M. in Performance, at Berklee College of Music, James is pursuing his master's degree at Texas State University and embracing Austin's live music!
